Can a AD for 100% tell that a Rolex is authentic?

Hey,

This is my first post here! :)

I am about to buy my first Rolex. I have found a Rolex GMT Master II from 2005 with the Pepsi ring that I have looked for some time now. As you guys probably know this is not produced anymore, "forcing" me to buy it second hand.

The thing is that I don't wanna end up with a fake Rolex on my arm, paying full market price. So therefore I met the seller at an AD and we left the watch there for them to verify that it is the real thing (the seller didnt mind, which is comforting). It is currently there as I write this being examined by their experts.

Since it is quite a big decision for me buying this watch, I have been reading alot online. And of course the "bad" knock offs are easy to spot. But the BEST ones seems to be quite hard to expose. I definently wouldn't be able to tell the difference. So my question is:

Will the AD be able to tell 100 % if the watch I am about to buy is authentic? (of course they will open the watch up)

Are there any "fakes" that are so good that they can fool the AD's?

(The watch is supposedly sold at the very same AD that now do the examining and has the original certificate that is stamped from that store, and all the other stuff (boxes, bezels, pricetag etc))

Please enlighten me!
