more info on Breitling Cockpit

Hello guys. Looking for some advise from breitling experts on this forum. I am looking to venture out to breitlings but was never able to come to terms with the big cases. My friend owns a Breitling cockpit which he bought in jan 2008 from an AD. He paid about 4K new and now wants to get rid of it. I really liked the MOP dial on this particular watch and also the fact that it is only 38mm and not so thick.

What i want to know is a fair market price for this watch. If ever i want to sell it will i be able to sell it in a fair amount of time without taking a hell of a beating on the price. Please note that the watch in question is not the one in picture. The only difference is that it has a full 18k Rose gold bezel and indexes are also in 18kt rose gold. If i do end up buying it i will post pictures.

Thanks
