Strapped

About 6 weeks ago, my beloved Omega X-33 NASA kevlar strap broke. It lived a good life, providing me with several years of faithful service.

That meant I had to use the Speedy on a 6 years old 40 dollar strap that was carefully shaped to look like alligator. It was okay, but it too was showing the age and for something at that price point I just could not ask for any more years of service out of it.

Long story short, I stopped by Bachendorf's on my way home and I bought a Hadley Roma Select Crocodile strap, 20/18 with white stitching. It was quite pricey but they made me a good deal on it so I got it around 40% off.

It did not look much different from the cheap one I had for half a decade but once on the watch, it made all the difference and I think it looks great!

One dilemma remains:
Should I use it with the deployant that I stuck on it as soon as I got home and extend the life or should I use it with the OEM Omega buckle that I bought for the kevlar strap?
