Last year I actually spent way over 100%. if you've got the money to spare, and it feels right, just do it. Unlike a car, you can always sell if you need the money.

I just made my most expensive purchase ever this week, so I'll be eating cup noodles for the next few months, but I have absolutely zero debt except the credit card I pay off every month, and I have a few watches worth of savings that I don't touch.
