Rolex day date question

Hi people,

I am completely new to the world of Rolex.... beautifull watches
I've seen a second hand rolex day date ( early seventies )
it has white date and day wheels. ( and gold dial )
Is it a bad sign when the day is not nicely centered in the day "window"?
What is the normal price for a new day and date wheel?
Will the centering problem be fixed with a new wheel?
Or is there any other way to fix the centering problem?
Ofcourse I would let all the work do by a pro.

Thanks very much from a future Rolex owner !
