2 watches in 2 days - my husband thinks I've gone off the deep end!
In a strange quirk of timing, the Rolex I custom ordered from DavidSW a few months ago was delievered on Thursday.
And the 'gently used' Seamaster Aqua Terra I finally found online that I liked was purchased this week and deleivered Friday. One, Thurs and one Fri! Fun! I just had the Omega band adjusted to fit me properly this afternoon, but before I left the house, I put the Omega with the really big band on as well as my properly-fitting Rolex. Omega is 36mm and the Rolex is 31mm. I REALLY wanted a 31mm Omega as well, but couldn't find one and couldn't pass up this nice 36mm I saw this week. Omega for every day. Rolex for dress up occasions. (More pics of the Rolex on my Rolex thread.) I don't know how you guys take some super photos of these watches! I need a zoom lens I guess. My camera does NOT do these beauties justice! And any idea what this Omega clasp is called, if anything? My husband loves the sliding thing. He says his Professional/Bond band doesn't have it and it would make it so much easier. I actually think it makes it MORE difficult to get on because its sliding all over the place. .. but I'll get used to it. Cheers! Suzy |
