Please help-broken rolex

I am new the forum,I purchased a used rolex from my local jeweler yesterday.
At around 3pm I noticed it stopped I shook it and it worked again...at around seven pm I noticed it did it again and did the same thing it started working and then did it for the third time I woke up this morning after I shook it one more time it worked again.now today the same thing happend two times and now I have wound the watch and tried snacking it...the watch seems dead it is a date just...any in site on what I can request from the jeweler would be great.
