Tritium Dials, 50 Years from Now?

Gents,
As the number of vintages in my collection grows, I cannot start but thinking.... How will the dials deteriorate over time, especially the markers? What now is a nice patina, will it chip off and leave me with some kind of worthless clunker?

I know, I know, I should enjoy the beauties now and forget about 50 years from now, but I've already spent a few thousands.......

Any ideas? Let the speculation begin.....
