Disappointed ...

I recently purchased an OEM antique brown croc strap for my PAM 000, which has been rotated with the rubber strap maybe 10 times, max. Last night I went to change back to the croc strap and one of the pins continuously rotates when I try to secure the screw. So maybe the screw or lug is stripped?? I have been very careful when changing the straps so this is pretty disappointing ... especially considering it is not convenient for me to take this to the AD for his evaluation. Has this happened to any of you before? Just curious, thanks.
