Eye opening results

Just had a search through ebay listings for ROLEX. ( a 79year old man with nothing better to do) Results were eye opening.
There were 3,523 items listed of which 796 were new watches and 2,693 were used watches The highest priced was a used president at $99,999,99.
--or-£63,215 So questions for forum members--Why are so many Rolex watches being sold on by their owners ? and who with $100,000 to spend on a watch would be looking on ebay?.I look forward to reading the replies.
