Icon6 Pepsi on GMT II (16710)

Hi folks

A bit of GMT Master history.... Seems pretty clear the Pepsi bezel was available as an original option (i.e. mounted on the watches as delivered by Rolex to the ADs) on the GMT Master II - # 16710. I think that combo (just like the Coke and all-black bezel variations) was even given some kind of model variation code of its own at some point. One or two letters added after 16710 in brouchures and perhaps on papers but (mark!) not on the case.

However, was the Pepsi bezel available as an original option when the 16710 was launched??? Or was that something that came later on? Anyone who knows?

Many (perhaps all) Rolex catalogues from the 1990s just show the Coke option for the 16710, with the Pepsi and all-black alternatives shown for the GMT Master 16700 only.

Cheers!
