Help me choose my next Omega
Hi guys,
I am currently contemplating my next purchase. Having purchased my Rolex GMTIIc TT a month ago, I have been wearing that watch five days a week for the whole past month and I have realized that its looks too flashy and stupid on a pair of jeans or hoodies. Im thinking of keeping that watch for dressier occasions and getting an Omega Seamaster for casual everyday wear. I have previously owned an Omega SMP 300 quartz 'bond' and sold that because I couldnt stand the fact that it was quartz. I also owned an Omega PO 2500 42mm in black, and sold that because it looked too plain. Now I want something that looks sporty. My choice is between: - PO 8500 Black w/orange markers 42mm Uploaded with ImageShack.us Pros:- 8500 movement, ceramic bezel looks superb Cons:- is it worth the extra $$$?? - PO 2500 Orange 42mm Uploaded with ImageShack.us Pros:- Sleek, lightest weight Cons:- Possible issues with 2500 movement, looks outdated? - PO Chrono Orange *Used* Uploaded with ImageShack.us Pros:- Nice chunk of Omega steel, attractive Cons:- looks big on my 6.75" wrist? - SMP Chrono blue Uploaded with ImageShack.us Pros:- The most recognizable Omega, nice colour Cons:- Might become discontinued in a few months time, outdated |
