Vintage Chronograph question?
Just curious is it better for a chronograph watch to have only the sub seconds dial running or the main second hand + subs on a daily basis. By better I mean less stress on the movement.
This answer may be obvious, however, I've seen some folks who leave it running (The chronograph function) and others say it's better if only the sub seconds dial is functioning thus chronograph not engaged. Thanks in advance. -Jeremy
