Just wanted to say Hi and Thank you to everyone who contributes to this invaluable resource

I have my father to thank for my fascination and aspiration to one day won my own Rolex. He has had several in his lifetime (2 stolen at gunpoint sadly), and I have finally decided to join the club.

As with most things in my life, I usually end up researching them in great detail and have been truly bewildered by the sheer number of variations, dial types, marks, etc that encompasses the Rolex universe

With that in mind, I have been scouting for a few models as I wish to make my very first Rolex purchase in the coming weeks. Being still fairly new to the game I would like to ask if there is forum member on here, who would be willing to give me some pointers when it comes to verifying some of the smaller details on any particular Rolex I may look into buying from a member on here
