The Joy of Ownership

I have seen several variations on a theme repeated throughout the forum: 'There is no better feeling than having a Rolex on your wrist.'

I must say, before I procured my first and only Rolex, I did not fully understand this statement. I have many material possessions which I enjoy, but none of them offer quite the experience as my time piece. I think this has greatly to do with the fact that it is physically present on my body at all times, and I can always just look down and see this watch that represents so much for me.

So what are your thoughts? Months, years, or decades after you put on your first Rolex, does it still hold as much joy for you as it once did?
