I don't agree. It is possible to be completely content with a watch and have no interest or desire for another. Even though I appreciate the Rolex watches I have, I'm not a collector, rarely visit AD's and when I do, I suffer no "Rolex envy". In fact, models such as the daytona or yachtmaster and just about anything in solid gold still leave me completely cold.

I have my own passions, but except for certain euro sportscars and photography equipment, few of them are materially based. I also know that these are my passions and don't expect for anyone else to either understand or share them. Everyone's taste are individual.
