TAG Boutique? Is this the wave of the future?

I was once again at the Mall at Millenia (Orlando) this weekend, I had to go to Mayor's Rolex boutique to get a link taken out of my Sub C (I have lost 150 pounds). Just below the Rolex boutique I see a sign "Coming Soon Tag/Heuer boutique". Now I know that Omega is opening a boutique in that mall sometime this summer but this is the first I have seen a Tag boutique? Nearly every large department store sells Tag, how can they stop that?

Tag's are nice enough watches, I guess. I have owned one previously but I cannot imagine a boutique or that brand. Are these swiss watch companies trying to keep all the business for themselves now? Squeezing their dealer channel out?
