Is it common to have hair lines on the Mother of Pearl dial?

Hello,

I am new here and I would like to get some advice.

I just bought 2003 Ladies Datejust with white MOP dial from swiss-wrist.com. But it has four tiny hairlines coming out from the center. Is it common to have tiny short cracks like hairlines on the MOP dial?

I asked for an replacement but they wrote me back and said...

"Since it is a natural material, it will have slight cracks and an uneven surface in a few parts. If you want a dial with no cracks it will have to be a solid color."

Please let me know what do you think.
