Will It Fit?

First the technical question, then the explanation.

Will an Oyster Perpetual 116000 36mm crystal fit properly in a President 118205 36mm case and pass the 100m pressure test?

Here's the reason - love my RG President but find the cyclops a pain in either low light or viewing at an angle. The Date is obscured about 80% of the time I look at it.

The idea is to replace the original with a plain crystal. Since the Day doesn't have any magnification and it's legible to me, I'll be able to read the Date without a cyclops.

Will keep the original crystal to switch back if I ever sell it - don't want to cleave the cyclops off the original for that reason. Could get another Day-Date cyclops crystal and cleave the eye off - but thought it might be easier if the Oyster Perpetual crystal is a direct fit.

Can any experts help? I'm not sure the 2 different crystals have any differences like height, shoulders, flange, etc. Thanks in advance for your input.
