My next watch just might be a Daytona, but if we're talking "only" Rolex, the Daytona is too dressy, too complicated, too expensive-to-service, and less robust than I want for a "do everything" watch. For me, a daily wearer has to go with me for outdoor activities like swimming, hiking, a little climbing, washing the car, etc., as well as, go to the office.

A DJ or GMT is fine for almost everything, but, IMO, the Daytona is going to show it, if you use it for everything.
