Hmm?

I wonder:

What is THIS pin for??



It has nothing to do with the "Easy Extension" link, but as far as I can figure out, only the ENDS of this pin act as a way to make the fold-over security clasp (the one with the Rolex coronet on it) stay put, since the ends of the pin extend slightly at both side of the clasp.
