GMT II C Bezel Numeral Questions?

Odd question here, but I need others to tell me i'm just seeing things and i'm crazy or they notice it as well..

I bought a G serial GMT C last year... I sold it however, and missed it and picked up another a month ago, Random serial..

I notice in pictures of not just my ex G serial piece, that the numerals/indices on the bezel that are platinum filled? I believe, seem more grey/metallic than any other serial gmt ii c i've seen..

Is it just angles, lighting etc? Seems hard to believe of all of the G serials i've seen up for sale and in pictures they would all be under similar lighting and or same angles lol..

Thoughts?

Martin
