Hi guys and girls, I'm joe a newby to the Rolex world, was hoping somebody could shed some light on a Rolex I have been lucky enough to have been passed down to me from my dad who had it passed down from my grandad.

All I can tell you is from what I can read on the clock face:

Rolex, oyster royal, Dobbies Ltd, Nairobi precision.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction as to what I have got. It looks like it could do with a bit of a clean up and a service and also a new strap.
