Winders

I just bought a brand new 16610LV about a month ago. I absolutely love it! I have an Omega ss Seamaster and a Breitling as well but I now have severe Rolex fever much to my poor wife's shagrin! I have seen a couple of discussions on the board about winders but I wanted to ask some opinions from those of you that certainly know more about luxury watches than I do.

I've heard varying degrees of opinions as to the harm you can do do to one of these watches by putting it in certain winders. Can anybody give me a little guidance as to what you should and shouldn't do regarding them? I like the idea of a winder as I tend to switch my watches less when I know I have to go through the trouble of re-setting it each time I wear it.

Any opinions greatly appreciated!
