Incoming 116613 LB with pics.......
Afternoon everyone,
I posted a thread a couple of weeks ago about trading my S/S Daytona for a TT Sub C LB. Since buying the Daytona the fact that it didn't have a date was irritating me and I was wearing it less and less. I decided it was stupid to have a significant amount of captial tied up in something that I was rarely wearing so decided to trade it for a brand new 116613 LB. There seems to be quite a few of us buying into this watch recently judging by the amount of incoming threads that have been popping up. I was able to do a part exchange deal on my Daytona with Blowers Jewellers in Hull (UK). They gave me a great price for a part exchange and have been fantastic to deal with all along. Can't really say enough good things about them if any of you are thinking about dealing with them. I drove up to Hull this morning to do the deal face to face and got to try on some amazing pieces as well while I was there. So to the watch...... So far i've only had SS watches in my collection so this is my first experience with gold albeit TT. The gold and blue dial combo looks amazing. I was quite surprised at how much heavier it feels versus say my SS GMT2C. The glide lock clasp is also fantastic, again this is my first experience with this and I now understand why so many of you rave about it. Anyway, here are a few pictures of my new Sub as well as one of my grail whihc I got to try on, the solid 18K gold GMT2C with green lagoon dial - bank on!!!!!! cheers Nick |
