Thats great V and P love to draw! Does J like to write at all? When my kids were little, I'd give them journals to bring on our camping trips, and I had one too; When we hiked etc, we could draw things and write about what we saw...I have some amazing memories now- its nice to go thru them once in a while.....sigh...they grew too fast!
Tay is fine today- no reports of tummy trouble thank goodness!
Did you find any treasures in antique stores yesterday?
Mom always stored the ring in a tiny jar of water. I keep it there as well.

That's a good idea to let the kids keep journals of your journeys. I know what you mean about looking back through the kids' work from years ago... I keep a few pieces in a box in the closet. That's the closest I can get to scrapbooking!

No antique finds yesterday... just as I was getting ready to leave the house the phone rang and a man wanted to see my parents' place. He's wanting to build a church on the land and use the house as a parsonage. So I met him out there just as the skies opened up with pouring rain... by the time we had finished up and I'd done a bit more clearing out of junk in the closets, it was time to go back to my side of town and get the kids from school.

That's okay. Got a lot done yesterday and today I'm loving just staying home on this cool, misty day, catching up with the mail, having some hot tea, and looking at my new Classic Car magazine!
