My Vintage Rolex
Greetings all!
Since I am new to this forum, I just wanted to say, "Hello and thank you for welcoming me" Most recently I inherited a very old Rolex timepiece. 1940 Rolex OysterDate Perpetual Here are some pictures. http://www.flickr.com/photos/13328248@N00/2053830467/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/13328248@N00/2054615462/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/13328248@N00/2053830089/ However as you can see that this watch looked like it went through WW II ![]() The watch is currently not functional and I would like to ask you all to suggest a reputable watch repair in the Santa Monica/ West-LA area. I am interested in repairing the all of the scratches and blemishes. Leatherband? or should I attempt to find the original SS bracelet? I would love to hear all of your comments and suggestions. I hope in the future I can share my Rolex experiences with you this forum. Thank you all and cheers! ![]() D |
