In the thread 'Rolex FAQ' at the top of this thread, it states that there is a 3 digit no. that precedes the serial no. on the warranty certificate.

After looking over my certificate, I have the letter 'D' followed by 6 digits. I do not have any other nos.

I bought the watch new, in Oct. '06, from an AD out-of-state, who I have done a lot of business with over the yrs. when I lived there.

Is something missing/wrong...or did Rolex change the way it lists info on the warranty certificate?
