Gift Opinion. Older watch?

Hey Guys,
Can I get your opinions. Looking to get my wife a watch for Christmas.

I know how most of you feel about custom bezels, altered dial, etc. BUT, she's young and I think it would look good on her. Obviously, the watches decrease value with mods like this one has, but the price I would buy it for, would compensate for that.

That being said, the serial number makes it seem like it's from the 60's.

All of my Rolex's are all new, so I am a little unfamiliar with older Rolex's.

Do you think a watch from the 60's would last several years without problems?

What are your thoughts on this watch, is anything concerning, other than what I noted above? The seller disclosed the crystal, bezel and hour markers are aftermarket, but claim everything else is original. In either case, I'd get it authenticated after delivery.

I'd rather get her an unmodified 26 mm YM, but I know she'd rather this.

Should I buy what I want her to have (unmodified YM) or buy her this, knowing that she'd probably like it more.

Thanks guys!
