2005 Omega Seamaster

Hi Guys, a friend of a friend has offered me an Omega seamaster chronometer which is two years old. I saw it today and It's a great looking watch and just has a bit of dirt between the bracelet links and minor scratches on the bracelet, but nothing really to worry about. It comes with three different credit card type cards in a red wallet as well as a very thick instruction book in about 500 languages, some spare links and it also has it's original red box. It was purchased new by the seller in London in 2005. Could anyone tell me please, should there be an outside box and should there be any other paper work with it. He is looking for 1800 U.S for it. Any other observations appreciated, positive or negative.
Thanks in advance, Phil.
