Service question from AP noob
I just purchased an immaculate 15300 from DavidSW. Phenomenal transaction as always.
The papers are stamped 12/1/10 and the watch came LNIB. I spoke to a woman at the Clearwater SC and she seemed to be pushing for a full service and water resistance check, her reasoning being that the watch likely sat unworn for the majority of the 2 year period and maybe the oils dried up/sedimented/whatnot. As per the manufacturer recommendations the watch is only due for a water resistance check. So here are my questions: 1. Is a full service needed at this point? 2. Do most of you perform the water resistance check like clockwork every 2 years (pardon the pun).
