Who uses the extra features?

Just curious, who here uses the extra features included with your watch? For example:

Turning bezel to time things on a Sub
Diving with a Sub
Date on a Date watch
Day of the week on a day-date
Chronograph to time things on a Daytona
Rate ring to check mile time on a Daytona
2-time zone capability on an Explorer II
3-time-zone capability on a GMT II
Helium release valve on a SD
Wet suit extensions
Magnetic resistance on a Milgauss
Bling factor to impress people / dress up / etc (expensive feature!)

Personally, I don't like the idea of getting a watch with extra complication that I'd never use (especially the valve on the SD, it's another hole in the case to leak).

I really wish they'd make a cheaper version of the day-date, that's a feature I'd really like. Even if I could afford one, I probably wouldn't wear it because I'd be afraid it'd get stolen.

i've been thinking of getting an Explorer I, because that only tells the time, or maybe a Sub-ND for the extra bling (the Exp I is very plain) and because the timing ring is something I might actually use.
