Rolex's natural molting phase

I got my TT GMTII on 12/23/06. A few days ago I noticed my wrist felt sticky when I took off my watch. I thought it was just sweat.

I looked closer and the hologram was sliding off sideways! The edge of the plastic was hard and clear in color, and gewy.

I reached in and lifted the hologram. It came out like a loose tooth. Seeing as goo was everywhere I used a soft toothbrush and some toothpaste and cleaned the watch back up.

So now it's a grown up. I debated putting the hologram under the pillow for the Rolex Fairy to find.
