Oh, he wasn't an outside dog. He lived with us indoors except he went outside during the day when we were at work unless it was too hot or too cold (he favored cold temps). My yard is all fenced in and he had the run of the yard most of the time unless rain forcasted then he'd be tied to the dog house otherwise he'd just stand out in the rain. Poor fella got confused but if he was tied then he'd just hang out in the dog house safe and dry. He was tall and he'd stand up against on the front yard fence and bark at passers by. Scared the bejesus out of strangers because he was almost as tall as they were and had a big woof. Real nice pup. Still miss him. Broke my heart when he died. Gentle but watched everything like a hawk.
