First AP will be a 15300 - Silver or Blue?

I'm sure you have all heard this story before but I come from years of Rolex and Panerai and had the chance to try on a friend's Jumbo. It has somehow burned it's way in to my mind and I can't seem to get rid of it. His piece is the 40th 15202ST.OO.1240ST.01.

If I'm totally honest, the 15300 is a more palatable way for me to move in to the world of AP based on the price difference between the 15300 and the 15202. I've run across two opportunities to pick up a 15300 one of which has the silver dial and the other has the blue dial.

Two questions for you:

1. Will the 15300 feel as magical as the 15202 did? (No watches near me to try on.)

2. Would you choose the SILVER dial or the BLUE dial?

These threads usually drive me crazy because the answer is clearly "which ever one speaks to you". The issue is they are both speaking to me and I would like to know which is more popular with you AP experts.

Thanks!
