done flipping and what ive learned in the process

I think im finally satisfied with my collection. Here is what i have learned about MY collecting preferences:

1. 40mm is as big as i'll go w my 6.5in. wrists. Even the newer "maxi" cases listed as 40mm are too much for me and forget about Panerai, i love the deisgn elements but on my frame they just look cartoonish.

2.PCL's dont do it for me. If i want flashy, ill wear gold or AP.

3. Classic design is classic for a reason. What ive ended up with as keepers include a pepsi GMT2, JLC reverso, AP Royal Oak 15300 and Exp 36mm...all timeless designs that work.

4. In house is a must. an outsourced, mass produced ETA movement in a luxury watch just doesnt sit well with me. are they high quality? sure. might some consider rolex movements mass produced? probably. thats just how i feel

hopefully these thoughts might save some others a few trips to fedex
