In the morning post

I have been without a Rolex in my collection for some time and have been looking for a vintage one to fill the spot. This one just arrived. I believe the dial is original. I love the simple elegance and long curved lugs, particularly compared to the current garish Rolex designs. I'll put it under the loupe and share numbers when I'm home. There's a caliber 1030 under the hood.
