I have a 16710 mid 90s model GMT Master II.

I wanted to upgrade the band, so today I purchased a new style GMT Master Oysterlock Band with solid end links from an authorized dealer in Dallas. The band fits great on one side, but on the 6 o'clock side it seems kind of loose. You only notice this if you hold the watch and the end links and wiggle them at the same time. Is this common? Do I just have to live with this if I want the up dated band, or is there a fix?
