Spoted a interesting YG DD at Padres game - Question
I was at the Padres/Phillies game last night, and in about the 5th inning a guy sits next to me. He is about my age (33) and I immediately notice the amount of diamond and gold he is wearing. He had about 4 or 5 huge YG diamond rings and multiple gold bracelets on one wrist. On his other wrist he had what appeared to be a vintage YG DD President. The watch had diamonds on the bezel, diamonds on the dial, and diamonds on the bracelet. The weird thing about the watch was that it had lug holes. Did Rolex ever put lug holes on a DD? I didn't get the impression that his jewelry was fake, so I didn't think his DD was fake either until I saw the lug holes. Thoughts....
On a side note, I was wearing my vintage YG DD President, and I couldn't help but have a bad feeling about my piece. I know I shouldn't feel like this, but do I really want to be lumped in the same group with a guy like this? I mean, this guy was as obnoxious as them come. I was just waiting for him to see my watch and try to strike up a conversation about it. I was having thoughts of selling it and getting something more under the radar. Should I be feeling like this??? |
