A good reason for a refund or just weakness?
So, a great pal of mine has been desperate to change his twenty year old Tag Heuer Formula watch for either a Patek 5980 or Offshore. And for two whole months I received emails with pictures of watches entitled "how about this one"?
Then suddenly a purchase was made for a BNIB grey ti themes and shortly after I received the customary email with a wrist shot and it was very nice indeed and everything seemed right in the world for the following 24 hours. The following day I received a call from my pal explaining that he was in significant pain with his wrist and he was going to have to return the watch to the dealer. It seems that the size of the watch and perhaps even the metal bracelet may have aggravated a relatively recent mountain biking injury. I'm slightly concerned that my pal may be going soft so I thought I might post a couple of photos to see if he deserves any sympathy, after all this was his 40th birthday present to himself. Full marks to the dealer for the refund too! |
