Tried on a Breguet Marine... Oh dear...

I visited my AD this week, trying on a rosé-gold Sky-Dweller , which is still my grail watch.
But then hè showed me a Breguet
A "marine chronograph" in red gold on a rubber strap.

oh my.....

Now i haven't stopped thinking about it and i'm pretty sure this one will be mine one day, but to be honest i don't know so much about the brand?

Is it really that good in quality ?
And how is it holding it's value?

Could some of you enlighten me?
