Eddie and Dave are back - Van Halen comes to Tampa!!

Van Halen came to town last night and did a show at the forum in downtown Tampa.

Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth are back together and performed along with Eddie's brother Alex on drums and Eddie's 16 year old son Wolfgang on Bass. This tour was the first time that David Lee Roth has been with the band since their album "1984"

I had good seats for the show and it brought back a lot of old memories for me. I was in 16 when their last album came out. They performed a 2 hour set which included such songs as:

Runnin' with the devil
Aint talkin about love
Unchained
Hot for teacher
Panama
Dance the night away
Jump
Mean Streets
Cradle will rock

Alex Van Halen did a 10 minute drum solo and Eddie also did a 15 minute guitar solo

Great Show but it was rough getting up at 5am this morning to go to work
