Hello from the Northwest USA

Hello all,

Been glad to be here. The last couple of months, this forum has been an invaluable resource in my learning about Rolex watches. As a 19 yo, I gave up a hand-me-down single line big crown gilt sub when I was quoted a cost of repair after 3 years of owning it and replaced it instead with a new seiko 5. After 40 years, I find myself appreciating watches more than just a way of telling time, but the artistry put into their design, history and creation.

Now in the Rolex market, I find myself doing more and more research in this forum. One of these days I hope to find and own one just like that sub to use as my daily watch. Great community here, sharing your collective wisdom and thanks for reading.
