Custom dials OK?

I found a web store (www.goldwatchco.com) with a good selection of pre-owned Rolex, and I was looking at their 36mm DD watches. They have some factory original stock, but also some watches that they have added custom (aftermarket) diamond dials. I've been looking for a 36mm DD with MOP diamond dial, and they have one that knocks me over.

Is is a good idea buying a Rolex that's been "modified" with a custom dial? Of course there would be no Rolex warranty, but if I brought a watch like this into a RSC, would they accept it for service, or tell me they wouldn't even work on it because it isn't factory original?
