15400 as a daily wearable ? or shut up and buy a Rolex ?
I'm looking for something that I can wear on a daily basis. Something that looks good with a suit, but can easily go with shorts or jean. Something I can travel with and simply wear without worrying about how appropriate it is and something that can take the daily grind of life.
What are your thoughts on the 15400 for this? I have the 26400 AP 44mm Offshore Chrono Novelty and a Portuguese (my dress watch) and realize that I should probably just buy a Rolex GMT (I like the two tone) and be done with it. I have never owned a Rolex and while I respect the brand I have always found them to be a little too common for my liking. Although I can certainly see a GMT II on my wrist. My AD (he carries both brands) is telling me to buy the Rolex. Says he sees too many AP's come back with issues and that the 15400 is simply not as durable ?!?!? Would love to hear some opinions especially from those who have a 15400. Need to make a call on this very quickly as both pieces just came up as available. TIA !!! |
