My Explorer II 216570 arrives Tuesday---

In setting up the watch, it seems that you can rotate the hands either clockwise or counterclockwise to set the GMT hand and the hour hand for the date. Is this correct?

I take it that you can set up the watch including the date at any time during the day---no admonition against making the change between 10pm and 2am like "quick set" date watches.

Getting excited!!! The ability to change the hour hand without stopping the watch is soooo much better than my ETA 2893 GMT.
