Submariner Twin-lock Case Tube Information

Hey Guys:

After going through the motions of returning my 1970 vintage 5513 to "original" I wanted to post some details that might help others...

The crown, stem and case tube must all match to make things work. I have found 2, if not 3, different versions of the "twin-lock" 24-7000 case tube from Rolex. That doesn't even include the after-market versions.

The correct crown is referenced 24-700....

Broaching tools may or may not be required to insert/clean the tube once it is attached to the case....just depends on which tube you get to use....
