Confirm my 1966 Datejust 1600?
Newb to TRF...loving the vast amount of information so far!

I recently inheritated this from a family member, and am curious if it is indeed a Datejust 1600 'Wide Boy'?

I'm going to take it to my local AD for servicing, but can I verify the year/model by removing the band myself?

*The band is not a genuine Rolex band...I'm on the hunt for a genuine band.
