Chronometer number punched on papers

I have a 1991 year Rolex EXP II polar that came with a punched papers with the chronometre number only- (553xxxx). I have a few questions that I hope to get answered from one of our more experienced Rolex experts.

Here goes:
Do these types of papers sometimes include the serial# on it...?
Does this 553xxxx number appear anywhere on the movement...?
Could I possibly have the wrong papers with my watch...?

I thought I bought a watch with papers showing the serial on it...- oh well then.
