6263 with flat or ultra flat dial
Hi,
I would like your help on the following : I've recently been offered a 6263 with a so-called flat or 'ultra-flat' dial in the sense that the registers don't have the concentric circles in them. I've never come across such a daytona dial, so I wonder if it's genuine, ie did Rolex really have dials like these and if so, in what period (I would also like to check with the serial number of the watch). On expert websites like the one from Stefano Mazzariol I don't find any reference to 6263 with 'flat dials' so that's why I'm very cautious. I have enclosed a picture to give you an idea of what I'm talking about. Many thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge. |
